This Church was established in the year 1942 A.D. with a few members, most of them were either illiterates or a little educated. Because of their financial position, many of them were wage seekers.
A lot has changed for us over the years but one thing has remained consistent: a focus on helping people live in love for the Kingdom of God.
Our mission is to continually build a church that is relevant, constantly recognizes and meets people’s needs, pursues the teaching of God’s Word and always provides an atmosphere for positive relationships to grow and develop.
Pioneer Mennonite Missionary Late J.A. Wiebe (USA) was instrumental in establishing this church. Many dedicated Servants of God rendered their valuable services as Pastors and strengthened the faith of believers in the Lord. Prominent among them are Late Rev J. John Garu, Late Rev C Parker Garu, Late Rev Dr Franz Joshua Garu, Rev Dr. N.J Caleb Garu etc.,
At present the Church is groomed under the Stewardship of Rev K. William Booth Garu. As the number of believers increased God has enabled us to construct a big and beautiful sanctuary, first of its kind in the entire M.B. Fields, with a capacity of more than 1500 members. The building was dedicated for the Glory of God by Rev. Dr. Paul Wiebe (son of Late J.A. Wiebe) on 09-02-2008. A spacious parsonage was constructed subsequently.
Merciful God doing mighty miracles in the lives of the believers and they are growing rich both financially and spiritually.May God grant wisdom and knowledge to keep the faith firm till his Second Coming. Amen
